I'm Baaaccckkkkk!

Sunset II
Pastel on archival paper
28 x 20 inches

I'm giving the blog world another try. It has been a busy and productive time and I have many new pastels in my studio. Several exhibitions showcased my work this year including the Jeffrey Leder Gallery in Long Island City and the Graficas Gallery in Nantucket.

This pastel is from a new vertical series where I have pushed color further than I have ever done before. Still working in black and white though, in sizes ranging from 2 x 2 inches to 44 by 60 inches. The sky this summer has given me lots to work with. I am continuously in awe of its beauty.

I hope to post a new piece daily and hope that you will follow along.

Welcome to my new blog!

Bay Reflection I
2-1/2 in. x 2-1/2 in.
Black and white pastel

A new day, a new blog. 24-hours a day we have a gallery in the sky, if we only take the time to look. My drawings offer a glimpse into the meditative realm of the natural world around us. The drawings I will be showing here are small in scale, but large in vision.

I work with both black and white and color pastels.

In the future, these drawings will be offered for sale on eBay.

Hope you will become a regular visitor.
